My home pod is connecting to my phone. It is not responding at all. Don’t have 8 digit code to manually connect

There is no code to use. It will self install in the Home App

if this is your first time setting up. Follow the instructions to Set up and use HomePod

If something went wrong Reset HomePod then set it up again

They should change the name from HomePod to boat anchor.. because... with all the software updates and such .. it is a piece of ****..


DO NOT BUY.. Just go Get a high end Alexa/Amazon product. I promise you will be way happier.. and I am a big time Apple Guy.. Sound is great.. it just doesn't work anymore. I have had more problems with this thing than you can imagine. So if you want a headache, like me buy it.. if not. Just go with the amazon product.. its way better at 1/2 the price.
