No SIM

keep getting the error message of NO SIM - tried re-booting, leaving phone off, etc... nothing works.

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

Follow the steps outlined here: If you see 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

You may need to remove the sim, clean it and re-insert it.

Also, sometimes, putting in a new (replacement) sim from your carrier might help!
