Recordings done using Voice Memos in iPhone does not have feature to rename it. Most of the times, we have to listen the recording in order to identify what it was done for.
Is there any smart way to rename the file recorded?

It sounds like you want to organize and edit your Voice Memos to be easier to find the ones you need. We've got your back!
To edit the name of a recording, open the Voice Memos app, tap the memo you wish to rename, then tap on the three dots on the left under the memo '...'
Then select Edit Recording, once loaded, double tap on the name at the top to edit or change it, and save your changes.
To locate this, we found these steps in: Use the Voice Memos app under section, "Edit a voice memo".
