When it was missing I noticed the find my iPhone app hadn’t located my watch for 3 days it is saying it is home, I have been out and about the last few days and it has been connecting to my my phone, why is the location update from three days ago and not current, I know I was using it today and misplaced it outside of home. Hello tam43,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand you are experiencing some issues with using Find My to locate your Apple Watch and its location seemingly isn't updating. We are happy to go over some steps with you.

If the Apple Watch isn't updating its location, we have some steps that we would go over to try to correct that listed here:

If Find My iPhone is offline or not working

If the Apple Watch is missing already, the best thing we can recommend is trying to use the "Play Sound" function listed in Find My to see if it can be located that way:

If your Apple Watch is lost or stolen

We hope this helps.

Best Regards.
