back up drive changed without my action

I received a message saying that my back up drive had been changed.

I did not do anything to change that. My mac mini has been backing up to this drive for several years.

I have received a fishing attempt but have not done anything to change anything but I did open the email and click on a link that sent me to google to view emails that had been prevented from being posted. Have not given any passwords in any of these actions. I immediately turned off auto backups.
