Optimized Battery Charging
My optimized batter charging on my iPhone 11 Pro Max WILL NOT turn off. Even after I toggle it off and even restart the phone it still stops charging at 80% why?

That’s not the same thing as optimized charging. If you fast charge your phone it will pause at 80% to cool off, then continue charging at a lower rate to avoid overcharging. But going from 80% to 100% can take 2-3 times as long as it took to reach 80%.
If you use a 19 watt USB-C source that is a fast charger. A 12 watt iPad charger is also. The little “cube” charger is only 5 watts, and is not a fast charger. I don’t know which one the 11 comes with, as I don’t have an 11.
Oh okay I understand now. Using the new charger is is fast charging?
Thanks for clearing that up for me!
