Dock apps iOS 13.7
When the dock apps are jiggling there is a plus or a minus sign attached to each app. What is the purpose of the plus and minus signs

The X would delete the App. The - for apps on the right side would simply remove the icon from the “Recently Used” Section, but not delete the app.
