Messages photos not saving to Photos

Thank you for replying back and letting us know that you are able to save photos successfully from messages, that is awesome to hear!

As of iOS 13.7, if you tap on a photo within messages and then tap the share button the option to Save Image will save the photo to the Photos app. There would not be an additional Photos app option listed other than the Save Image option. You can also tap and hold on a photo within Messages and then choose to save the image as well.
