How to restore a deleted Home in HomeKit

I wanted to delete an unused iDevices app on my iPhone, but before I did I deleted my Home, which iDevices had set up inside their iDevices app, since it contained my personal devices and setup info. Somehow that action appears to have deleted that Home in HomeKit as well. Certainly an unexpected result. I have so many devices and scenes I really would rather not have to set everything up again. Isn't HomeKit backed up in iCloud, and if so how do I restore my Home in HomeKit?

Learned the hard way that Apple has authorized iDevices to fully link with the Home app. Delete something in iDevices and it disappears in Home. I dislike learning that Home shared my connected home with iDevices in the first place. Glad to be rid of it. And reloading my apps wasn't as painful as I had feared. Though you do have to set up all your Scenes again.
