How can I sort this problem out as I can’t make calls or send texts

One possible problem is the provider carrier settings are in need of an update.

I have tried to make phone calls and txts but it is coming up with no service . I have tried reset and Turning phone off nothing works can anyone suggest how to sort this problem out
