Printing Text Messages

I had previously asked where is Clipboard on iPhone SE. I asked because directions I read regarding printing a text stream said to copy to clipboard & print from there. But the response was that Clipboard is invisible & can’t be accessed! So, my question is, please in iPhones for dummies terms,

How do I print a text stream back & forth with one person. Have a landlord trying to make my life miserable & NEED this printed as Evidence.

Thank you for any help, Lisa

If you need this for legal case get a third-party app that will export them in PDF with full layout and timestamps. The only thing you can do with native options is screenshots and they won't work for court in most cases. Check iMazing (guide, ignore that it's for WhatsApp, messages flow is the same), it has good printing customization options and I'm using it for a long time so can confirm it works OK, but lots of other similar apps on the web.

Create a Backup of your iPhone:

Without a backup of your iPhone, if the chat is lost, then then it would be lost forever (at least, on your part as an everyday person - not someone of law, though a full assumption on my part). So, create a backup of your iPhone, that way you have something to recover your iPhone from should anything go wrong from here on out. Keep this backup in a location that only you are knowledgeable of, and only you have access to. Go Here: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

I've seen a lot of promo posts about it (guys really spend a lot of time on them), but never used it as I have iMazing for 2 years and it completely satisfies my needs... 3utools and iFunBox are 2 free alternatives that I see in comments on Reddit from time to time, but never used both and can't say if they'll work in your case or how safe they are. Never trusted "free candies" sign...

UPD: Checked the thread, PhoneView was one of the apps I've looked through when choosing an iTunes alternative app. It was good but didn't like the UI and it missed some features that iMazing had if not mistaking. Check if export customization will be enough. If yes, it should be a good option as well.

Also don't forget to check Stacksocial website, they usually have good discounts on popular apps.

Carl_Franz. Just read about iMazing & of course nothing amazing is free... price starts at $49.99 - ouch. An alternative that has a Free & a Paid version is called Syncious. Are U familiar with it? And the free version w regard to transferring texts to PC to print in PDF?

Sorry 2 bother, I’m 55 & this is my 1st iPhone! Yup. Way behind on technology but realizing can’t get many things accomplished without it now (unfortunately). Thks for responding & if you know of another safe, free option that works.. I don’t need bells & whistles, justt basic backup ability 4 texts, photos etc to Win 10 PC.

Printing Text Messages: I didn’t lose anything from phone & it’s backed up... was that some computer generated response?

Following Up on this:

It’s just a recommendation on my part on how to make it recoverable.

If you backed up the iPhone with this text message on there, then you are all set.

Restore your iPhone to the backup if you ever need to recover the text message.

Good job on backing it up.
