It seems your MacBook Pro has battery related issue. You'd better make Genius Bar reservation if your neighborhood retail Apple Store is open or find opened local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro.

If you hold the option key and click on your BATT icon in the upper right menu bar—what is the condition?
Anything but Condition: Normal needs to be replaced
You do not say what exact Mac this is?
Macbook Pro. The battery was replaced about a month ago by a person who said he knew how to replace batteries. Could he have used a battery that was not Apple “certified”? I ran the hardware test because my wife’s Macbook Pro would not play a DVD and that’s as far as I got. I really wanted to verify that the CD player was working. How do I do that?
