My iPad freezes up.

My iPad freezes up. Sometimes if I wait long enough it will unfreeze, other times I have to shut it down.

My iPad freezes when in use. I turn it off, then back on. At first it froze only every few days. Now it freezes several times a day. Because my iPad keeps freezing, does this mean it is dying?
