I bought an Apple phone from a pawnshop the passcode lock screen appears when I started but it starts up from the set up page how do I get the passcode turned off from the set up page on an iPhone without being able to contact the previous owner

I bought an iPhone 11 from a pawnshop when I turned it on it was at the set up our start up process but it has a passcode lock on it am I able to get past the passcode part to set up the iPhone if so how without being able to contact the previous owner because I bought it from a pawnshop

You can remove the passcode, but you will not be able to remove an activation lock, if it is locked with that.


Follow the steps in this article:

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
