Is Quick Mac Booster a legit application, or is there something better that can clean up your Mac?

You should absolutely not consider using CMM. Avoid it "as if it were a swarm of bees."

No, it is not "a legit application." In fact it is considered to be Malware.

Thank you so much for the advice. That is exactly what I was thinking because it just kept randomly popping up, and every time it happened my terminal would open and it seemed that somebody was trying to remotely take over my computer by using zsh. I took photos of this happening every time, and when I would look at where it was coming from it was always routing me to a China based company and the link was different ever time as well. I did read that CleanMyMac X by MacPaw was a legit software application for cleaning my Mac. Is that software safe to use?
