Hello,
I have an apple watch 5 and both my iPhone and apple watch are up to date, but I still can’t see the app on my watch apps. I don’t even have the tap to talk switcher in my watch settings.
My FaceTime is working and my friends with the same phones and watches have the app. I can’t remember if I have deleted it, but I can’t even seem to find an app in the store that is right.
What could be the problem?
I had this same issue I finally got it working go to your App Store on your watch and download walkie talkie again from utilities we must have deleted it at some point. This worked for me hope it works for you also.

is the facetime feature turned on? if not here's instructions that i looked up from the actual apple support page

Facetime is turned on in my phone and I just tested it and it works. Should it be also turned on somewhere in the settings or else?

I have watchOS 6.2.8
This problem is still unresolved :(
mind you do yuo have a beta of watchOS 7 on youre watch cause if you do and its a bug you can' t run diagnostics
I can’t seem to find the right app on the app store for walkie-talkie. Did you just search it in the app store and it popped up?
From the App Store on the watch walkie talkie and it says utilities under it
That is the problem - I dont even have it in my app store, only other walkie talkie apps.
