how to revert screen bright back to default brightness level

I mistakenly changed the screen brightness level on the iPhone SE ios 13.3 I know how to adjust the brightness level, but is there a way to set it back to default without resetting every other setting on the phone? And does anyone know the default level of brightness on this phone/ios? Thanks.

iPhone SE, iOS 13

Hey there justrayharris,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’d like to revert your display brightness back to the original setting. We’ll be happy to help with this.

There wouldn’t be a way to reset the brightness level to original setting without resettings your device settings. Instead of doing this, you could ensure auto-brightness is enabled. With this, “iOS devices use an ambient light sensor to adjust brightness levels based on the light conditions around you. The sensor lowers brightness in dark locations and raises brightness in light locations.” You can read more about this here:

Adjust the brightness on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps.

Take care.
