No USB port for Apple Carplay

Hi guys.

I'm about to buy the Pioneer SPH-DA130DAB, that has Apple Carplay. The thing is, in that radio, Apple Carplay isn't wireless (as far as I know). I've got an old car, that doesn't have a built-in USB plug. How do I connect to the radio then, to use Apple Carplay?

Update: I found out that the radio itself has a USB plug in the back. Just to be 100% sure. If i plug a charger cable in the back of the radio, that would be enough for me to be able to enable Apple Carplay?
