I want to buy an iPad pro 2017 10.5 inch from a guy who claim that it is original shrink wrap and never turned on, when I check serial number in coverage page it’s said Purchase date not validated.
I don’t need apple coverage but I want to know is it ok to buy this device? and is it really new and never has been turned on.

How could any of us answer this question? People come here EVERY single day, saying they were told this or that about a previously bought iPad, to get it in the mail and have been totally scammed. Unless I could see it in person, I can tell you I would NOT buy it. But it's your money and you can what you want with it.
