Removing a child account from a device, not from the account.

Can anyone help me on this one!

When you have family sharing and you have children under 13, it seems very complicated to unlink an iPhone from a minors account ( that you are no longer going to use, and want to give it to someone ) without having to transfer the minor to another account.

I only want to remove the account from a device, not from family sharing and Apple doesn’t make it easy to do.

Thank you so much to anyone that knows how to fix this!

Thank you all!

Thank you so much for your comment, that was the problem, I fixed it and it worked fine. However, you do need to turn off the screen time feature on the account, that means that it resets all the settings on all the devices linked to the minor’s account! That’s a huge problem, and an issue on the apple screen time feature, you can’t turn it off on a selected device, that means all the other devices get a free pass until you configure all the restrictions, one by one, again!!!

Thank you Androish!
