I’m continuously getting the verification failed message when trying to sign into the Apple TV app on my 2nd Gen Fire TV Cube. I’ve tried every possible solution and the problem remains. Hard reset, factory reset, uninstall/reinstall app... still nothing... is Apple doing anything to fix this issue? I can sign into the app on every other device and my Apple credentials are all valid..

Have you updated the software on the unit?
In the home screen, scroll to top - Settings.
scroll right - My Fire TV. - About.- Check for Update.- install the update if there is one.
if you have an older model ATV, the code is entered onto the end of the password as one entry. Example: “password123456” then click submit
If you need more time you can have the code sent to you:
Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication
Been through all the updates... have tried factory resetting several times... still nothing. I can sign into the app on everything else except the fire tv cube...
Don’t know exactly what fixed it, but this morning I was able to sign into the app.
It’s not an Apple TV. It’s a Fire Tv Cube. I can’t sign into the Apple TV app... every time I try and sign in I just get the message that says verification failed
