"iCloud Storage Almost Full" - how do I get rid of this?

Hi!

My settings icon keeps showing a notification. When I open my settings I get the message: "iCloud Storage Almost Full".

Whenever I tap this thing I get a popup about purchasing more iCloud space, but I can't select any option that says 'no thanks'. I don't want to purchase more space.

How do I get rid of this notification? Please don't tell me that I need to clear space for it to go away. There should be another way.

Thanks for the reply!

I just turned off all apps under iCloud, but unfortunately the notification is still there.

ETA: I suppose the message will stay until I clear space? Lucky me just found an unwanted iCloud backup which I just deleted. The message is gone now! I'm guessing this notification will re-appear and stay as long as it detects that the storage is getting full?

Thanks for the help!
