All my folders from my desktop and iCloud have disappeared

All my folders from my desktop and icloud desktop has disappeared with all my ableton files/projects

Did you unknowingly turn ON Desktop and Documents to use iCloud Drive. See this: Add your Desktop and Documents files to iCloud Drive - Apple Support

If so, check in iCloud Drive (Folder) and see whether your missing documents have transferred there!

The last time I used the als files was 2 days ago and now they have dissappeared FROM the Icloud drive and computer desktop which was linked to the icloud drive. And they are not in the icloud recently deleted place or in the advanced recovery place.
