Question: US store

My apple music recently told me I would have to change the region of my store to the US Store so I changed it without thinking about it. My Apple music will now not let me play music at all, if i try a message just pops up saying the following: "Invalid Store. You are signed in with an Apple ID that is not valid for use in the US Store. You may only purchase music from the South African store with this Apple ID." I am not the main member of this plan as it is a family plan. Is there a way to fix this as I am not in contact with the main member. Please help!!!!

It sounds like you have recently changed the region for your Apple Music to the US store and are receiving an error not allowing you to play your content. Being able to play your media and download additional content can be necessary to make it through the day. We're glad you reached out for help.


There are a couple things we want to look into regarding your account to see if you can play your music again. Are you able to change your location back to the country you are located in:


Change your Apple ID country or region


Is the organizer of your Family Sharing group located in the same country you're located in or a different country? Does your billing address match the country you have set for your Apple ID?


Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods
