Is there a way that people can use their jailbreak to spy on your phone?

I know you can’t get malware really without getting a Jailbreak, but isn’t there a way that people can use their jailbreak to spy on your phone ? Even though you don’t have a jail break?

Can someone jailbreak my iPhone while using the internet I’m afraid that when I am using the internet and enter to a non secure page someone could download something or jailbreak my iPhone without my permission so someone could have the allowance to spy me or hack me. So it is possible that someone jailbreak my iPhone while using the internet without my permission?

iPhoneXR Jailbroken?? How can you tell if an iphone has been jailbroken. My now ex has been known to install spy apps on my phone and from what i’ve read iphones have to be jailbroken to do so. Would it be possible to hide the Cydia app also? This is my first iphone so i’m new to apple products
