I wanted to actually save it into the Pages file, not export it. When using the Cafe website and applying for a job you can browse your iPad and retrieve Documents to add to your proposal. Cafe recognizes Pages but requires pdf.s
and you can’t export from Pages to Cafe. I am sure the problem is within Cafe.
anyway I solved it by emailing a Word doc to myself then filing that into Pages. Cafe accepted that.
When sending out resumes, pdfs are better.
but having a similar resume that can be edited in the same location is important for updating.
Thanks for your attention.

This did not solve my question. Basically I want to have a copy of my document that is a pdf. The only way this can be done is to mail it myself then refile it in the Pages app. Really stupid.
In pages, tap the circle with 3 dots in It on the menu bar, select export, select pdf. Done. I don’t understand what’s so hard about that?
