Hey there Ahmadfraitekh96,

We understand you're wanting to know about the differences between shutting down and using sleep mode. We'll be happy to clarify.

Sleep mode is much faster than turning it on and waiting it to start up after a full shut down. It will also use less energy than when it's awake. This is a great option for when you'll be coming back to your computer and want to pick up where you left off.

Shutting down is great for when you won't be using your computer for a while or if you need to transport it in a case or enclosure. However, sleep mode is still an option in these situations.

For full details on using sleep mode, check this out: Use sleep and Energy Saver on your Mac

We hope this helps. Cheers!
