hello there, i changed my old macbook pro for a new one. Now I cannot text from my computer imessage.

i cannot sync imessage between my new macbook pro and my xr iphone, any idea how this can be resolved?

Help with iMessage issue Within the past week, Apple required me to change my password, which I did. I then went through all my devices (iMac, MBP, iPhone, iPad), and entered iCloud using the new password. But as of right now, when I text with iMessage on my iMac, the text isn't showing up in my iOS devices, and when I text with iMessage on my iOS devices, it's not showing up on my OS devices. I've gone through and tried to make sure Messages is on with all the devices. Any suggestions?

You need to be signed into the same Apple ID on both devices.
