Mac Mini - Intel UHD Graphics 630

hi ... i have an imac 2011 with:

AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB

i need to compare mac mini year 2020 video graphincs: Intel UHD Graphics 630

which is better to move 3D graphics in programs like maya and cinema

please help

compare 2011 video graphics with 2020 macmini ?

I recommend that you review the GPU requirements stated for Maya or Cinema 4D. There are likely custom shaders and other specialty GPU features in discrete GPUs that Intel has not incorporated into its 8th Generation integrated 630 GPU.


If this is the case, then forget about the 2020 Mac mini, and go for a 2020 iMac with the medium, discrete Radeon 5700XT 8GB option, and as much SSD storage and RAM that you can afford.
