How to keep iPhone Hotspot open over night?

I use my iPhone hotspot as my WiFi to download and install software. The iPhone seems to loose the hotspot over night so my iPad does not update 13.7. Any clues in keeping the hotspot open over night?

Keep both the devices unlocked connected to power. Auto Lock to Never.
