How do I display the "un-flagged" messages only?

Hi everyone,

so II've started flagging my messages into categories, and I have a strong feeling-that many messages that could be trashed or labeled are scattered along my inbox for years. I wish to go ONLY THROUGH THOSE MESSAGES. otherwise I am compelled to go through TONS of messages.

So please - how does one mark All the Un-Flagged messages?

when I google the answer for this - I keep getting an explanation on how to flag messages...or how to display flagged messages...
