iPhone 11 Pro Max super laggy and hot since iOS 13.7 update

I’m finding since I updated the other day, my phone regularly lags and freezes, and also gets really hot when used even lightly.

Anyone else finding this?

Thanks for your reply.

I’m really careful with the phone, it’s not a year old yet, battery health is still at 97%, I’m not near the limit with storage, it’s not exposed to adverse temperatures when this happens, it’s never been serviced or modified by anyone let alone a third party vendor, and isn’t jail broken.

I’m guessing/hoping it’s just a bug in the new iOS and will be rectified before too long.
