I have a knock-off lightning-HDMI adapter for my iPad. It won't let us play Disney+ on our TV from my daughter's iPad and account. I'm inferring it's the HDCP. The Apple page doesn't make clear whether the Apple brand one actually is HDCP compatible. I'd be willing to spring for the Apple one, but only if it will solve the problem. Any clarity? Thanks!

FYI, it will not allow you to stream Netflix, Disney or Hulu. You will hear the sound but the tv screen will be blank or you will get the HDCP screen in Disney. It’s very annoying and I have found no way around it.

The Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter does support HDCP.
