wrong birthday/ security questions fix?

I need to reset the birthdate and security questions for the email connected to the apple account.

About 10 years ago someone with a similar name started opening accounts using my email account (which I have had for 20 years). This person never did anything bad, I actually know a ton about her (name, address, how many kids she had, etc) as I was getting her emails. She never got into my email account, I am guessing it was a miss-type that kept going...

Now I have a work provided "apple" I need to get my correct birthdate into the apple "system", but am going in circles as it is asking for the answers to security questions that I can not answer because they are not my questions.

The password is reset, but I would like to fix the rest and am going in circles...

Any thoughts/ tips/tricks appreciated.

If you are being told there isn't enough information to reset them, contact Apple ID Support.

If you don't know the answers, if the steps in the article below don’t work, contact Apple ID Support, although based on multiple posts I have read, they will not help you recover the answers to your security questions.
