Phone call background noise

Why does everyone hear so much background noise when I’m on a call?

these things are like $240 for Christ sake!

Hello,

You didn't mention what hardware that you are using.

Anyway, the basic iPhone has noice-cancelation built into the microphone. When you use headphones or some other type of microphone, the noise cancelation is generally not as effective. See this:

I thought I commented on a AirPod pro thread. That’s what I was talking about is the AirPod pro. I just bought a pair and they were crap. I have a four year old Bluetooth headset that’s better than them. So I already sent them back.

I was trying to comment on the thread were so many people were complaining about the background noise callers were complaining about I just can’t believe they’re $240 and that they’re that bad plus they fell out of my ears all the time.

Did you get a resolution to this problem? I have the same issue and it’s horrible for anyone I’m talking to.
