Best way to transfer data from our Dell to Mac

I switched about 15+ years ago and got all my info from my old HP computer transferred in a single afternoon. It is easier now with Migration Assistant.

Also, If you have an open Apple Store in your general area, they can help you migrate if you haul in your Dell and buy the Mac from that store.

One additional thought. Do not use Ethernet for the migration. It will often corrupt your data. You should use a cable, preferably USB. Just follow the instructions and everything should go just fine.
