Hello,
Drake
Hello,
Drake
Well Drake, I just called in for support on this very issue today. I cannot recover my iPhone because ITunes does not exist and there is no "prompt" when teh phone is in the recovery mode. Finder does not see it. iTunes does not exist.
Epic fail. Finder does not see the phone, which is waiting for the mac now. And of course, no iTunes. More features, more complexity more epic fails. And of course, with Covid, more delays. I'll check back in a week after I can see one of your guys in person.
In Catalina it uses Finder instead. See details in If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
We are but users, like yourself, MacAsBadAsWin.
We do not have any special relationship with Apple, here.
So, you are certainly not going to «see one of [our] guys in person.»
