Airdrop - iPhone 8 to Macbook not working?

Hi! I recently updated my macOS to Catalina and ever since then my airdrop's been weird. I can airdrop from my Macbook to iPhone perfectly fine but for some reason I can't airdrop anything from my iPhone to Macbook. My Macbook's airdrop discoverability keeps resetting to "No One" and I've tried restarting many times but nothing works.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Hello mikayluh,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your Mac unexpectedly resets itself to "No One" for AirDrop.

AirDrop is a convenient feature to quickly share and receive data. We'll be happy to help.

To help troubleshoot this behavior, we recommend to temporarily turn off both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth feature on your Mac. Then, restart the Mac and turn each feature back on. From there, see if you continue to experience the same behavior with AirDrop.

If that doesn't help, the next step is to reset the NVRAM (nonvolatile random-access memory): Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

Please let us know if you're able to use AirDrop between the iPhone and the Mac without any issues, after performing these steps.

Kind regards.
