Blurry text and less resolution external monitor BenQ with MacBook pro

Hi I am using macbook pro with macOS catalina 10.15.6 and Benq monitor GW2480 24-inch and facing the resolution issue. It works in perfect resolution with windows system. But with mac it does not. I am using belkin dock to USB C to HDMI to connect to monitor (Belkin USB-C Multimedia Hub with Tethered USB-C Cable (USB-C Dock for Mac OS and Windows USB-C Laptops)

) . I can't see where is the actual issue. I tried everything .I also tried using custom resolution via SwithRex x but all i can see is blurry text and current resolution in monitor remains 1080 rather than 1920 x 1080. I am not sure where the issue is exactly. Is it with Belkin dock adapter or mac OS update or monitor.

Hey there! Looks like you’ve already tested, possibly the chords and ports, etc. Hopefully this article can help:

Get help with video issues on external displays connected to your Mac:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201177

If not, and the hardware is compatible and working as it should, there may be a technical reason it’s not.

For sure, I’ve seen display software installed that has caused similar issues, safe boot is always a good test for that:

Double checking the specs of the device and the external monitor is always a good step, if you have t already. Depending on the model of your MacBook Pro of course:

Either way, hope it works out okay!
