Why is Sprint connecting to phone?

I have Metroby by T-mobile. Tonight sprint popped up in my top left corner. I don’t pay them. In network settings i have to find metro pcs by TM to connect by automatic connect or checkmark.

my husband’s phone (same iphone) does not have that, he can turn it off. Amoungust other problems, now i have other cellular companies connecting to my phone! Singled out. Any ideas?

Sprint and T-Mobile are in the midst of merging their networks. You should confirm with MetroPCS Customer Service that roaming into Sprint is not considered to be roaming according to your service plan. In any case, make sure that Settings | Cellular | Cellular Data Options is set to "Roaming Off". This may be enough to keep you locked to T-Mobile's network service.

It’s funny you should say turn off the roaming. I had roaming turned off at the time. I usually have have it on. I have 12 networks on the network settings. Are they all supposed to be there? The recognizable ones are MetroPCS by T-mobile, verizon, sprint, At&t , & a bunch of numbers for towers i think. Why do you say T/Mobile? They are not one of the networks on my network settings.

I am calling MetroPCS today. Thanks for the information.
