Hi, TildySue.

It sounds like you've been unable to add new events to your Calendar, and some older events have been removed.

Which account is linked to your Calendar? Are you using multiple accounts? If you use a particular account, check to make sure the Calendar feature is still enabled. To check, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts. From here, select the one of the accounts that should be linked to your Calendar, and make sure that "Calendars" is enabled. If it's not, turn it back on, then exit out of Settings and reopen the Calendar app to see if the events reappear.

This guide has more details about using Calendars on iOS.

If you're using a third-party account such as Gmail or Yahoo, you may need to reach out to them if the calendar events aren't syncing or saving.

If you're using iCloud, do you have another device that is signed in to the same iCloud account? If so, are you able to view and add events to the Calendar there? This should help with that step: Use iCloud calendar subscriptions

You should also make sure that your iPhone is fully updated as that could help resolve the issue.

If you've done all of the above and are still having issue, try these steps.

Cheers!
