Why not? Did you recently update to macOS 10.15 Catalina?
If so, the iTunes Store can be found in the Music App.
To view your account, you can open the Music App and click on Account there.

Thanks Phil0124, I found my way through my AppleTV app, eventually logged in to account via iTunes app in Applications Folder, because my shortcut had disappeared. I completely missed the Apple Music changeover in the past year so had to catch up.
I see my problem Phil0124; I'm stuck in OS 10.11.6 El Capitan on my mid 2009 MacBookPro. If I want to stay in the Apple world, I'll need to replace with a new, probably, MacBook Air, like my daughter uses, so I'll see current apps & regain ease of use.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
