so I redeemed a 25 dollar iTunes card on my account but when I try to buy something it tells me to verify then makes me add a credit card, how can I just use the 25 dollar gift card.
Based on your screen shot, the card didn't redeem.
Have you tried signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restarting the device, and then signing back in to see if the account then shows a credit?

Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change/verify it there. Or you can click the blue Edit payment methods in the article below. When signed in and the page loads, you will be on the credit card page. After updating that, click the Go Back button at the lower left and you will be on the address page.
