My primary email (and iTunes acount name) and phone number were disused years ago. I still know the password, but I want to deleet that email and number. How?

My primary email (and iTunes acount name) and phone number have been disused for many years. I still know the password, but I want to delete that email and number. How can I do this?

I logged in to appleid.apple.com to change the account settings and it will allow me to do anything *except* change/delete the primary email and phone number.

I am at a loss. I'm annoyed because I travel a lot and confirmation/security notifications are repeatedly being sent to contacts that haven't existed since 2016.
