“Find My” app is showing the wrong address

It’s showing an address in my neighborhood, but it’s not even the correct street name. Is there a way for me to manually set the address? Or how can I fix this? I’ve tried a lot of troubleshooting that I’ve found by doing a google search, but nothing is working. Would really appreciate any help!

Hi inklingofperfection,

Thank you for posting here in Apple Support Communities. We understand that the "Find My" app is not showing the correct name of a street in your neighborhood, and that you've already done some troubleshooting in an attempt to resolve this issue. To help with what you're experiencing, we'd like to ask you a few questions, and have you check on a few things.

Is the iOS software on your iPhone up to date?

Is the street name just misspelled, or is it showing a completely different name.

Does this same incorrect street name also appear in the Maps app? If so, we ask that you report this by using the information here: If the Maps app isn't working on your Apple device

Cheers!

Hi, download the latest iOS software on your phone, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

You can also reset all settings, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Make sure that you're connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data.

If the issue persists, you may need to restore your phone as new:
