iPhone XS Max White Space on right going back to portrait

Ok this has been driving me crazy and I have not been able to find a fix.

If I open chrome on my iPhone XS Max and search Apple the page is normal. If I rotate to landscape everything looks fine. When I go back to portrait mode, I get a white space on the right side of the page. I have verified this on two phones.

I am not using zoom or text increase. Any ideas?

Hey there GuitarPlayersAnonymous,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re seeing an issue when searching Apple in Google Chrome and rotating your device. We’ll be happy to help with this.

To verify, does this happen in Safari as well as Chrome? If this is only happening in Chrome, you may want to make sure your device and the app are completely up to date:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update apps or use automatic downloads

If that doesn’t help, try deleting the app, restarting your iPhone, then reinstalling and test once more:

Restart your iPhone

If you continue to have issues, reach out to Chrome developer support and let them know:

How to contact an app developer

Take care.
