I have received an iphone x from a friend abroad but she forgot the password of her icloud. We cant even change the password because she only guessed all the account details before. What to do.

For the password, have her try the below.

Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.

You and your friend will need to perform the steps described in this article:

If the steps can’t be performed, the device is going to be worthless to you.

You’re welcome.

An iPhone X should still have lots of life in it.

It would be a shame to have to recycle it.
