New Music Mix not updating
Last couple of month my New Music Mix is not updating at all. No Updated `day of the week` beneath is displayed. Is it possible that the algorithm is stuck in some way?

Last couple of month my New Music Mix is not updating at all. No Updated `day of the week` beneath is displayed. Is it possible that the algorithm is stuck in some way?

Ok, I think I have found the solution to this: my New Music Mix is now updating.
TLDR: try to delete your New Music Mix if it is anywhere on a list.

Go to the 'For You' section if it isn't there find it on 'Recently Played' or inside 'Playlists', check if it is in any of them and try to do a 'Delete From Library' and wipe it, it will be fine. All the other Apple Music generated lists (Favorites, GetUp and Chill mixes) might or might not have the option to 'delete them from library', if you have the option chances are it has stopped updating too so hit that delete action also for them. The playlist will come back updated when the time for it comes. I did it on a Tuesday and the playlist went away until Wednesday where I got an 'updated' list ahead of time.
Bear in mind that there has been a lot of outages during the beginnings of November 2020 (notarization issue opening apps making them take minutes instead of seconds, iCloud Tabs not being synchronized between devices, etc)
I did go through hours with tech support, escalated tech support, etc and the usual sign out/in, SMC, PRAM/NVRAM resets, and they did try their best, sharing screen and navigating to try to find a solution with other people and all. So kudos to them.

We see your new music mix is currently not updating. What devices are you using with Apple Music? If it's a Mac, you can restart with How to turn your Mac on or off. If you're using an iOS device, Restart your iPhone & Restart your iPad.

When you listen to music, do you let the entire song play through to the end? Let's also make sure that the listening history is turned on for your devices. You can see how to do that under "Tell Music to ignore your listening habits", See recommended music on iPhone.

Are you still seeing this on all devices? Are all accounts device set up under one account, or are there family sharing accounts set up? Have you toggled the listening off and back on?

I managed to contact them through the email and found out that they were aware and working on current issue. The point is that we’ve received few more updates since I got their reply. The bug might be not so easy to fix.
Unfortunately this issue persists among multiple devices (MacBook, iPhone and Apple Watch). I've been trying lately to place more likes/dislikes over music I listen to but this did not help.

I definitely do let some songs to play through to the end. I checked Mac and iPhone and on both devices Listening History is enabled.

That's good to know this issues is being worked on because unfortunately restarting/toggling settings on/off didn't help.
Same. I haven't had the new music update in at least three weeks.
For me the music mix suddenly updated last week. But I am pretty sure this is a software issue and as there are still people experiencing this problem I wouldn't mark this issue as resolved.
Big kudos to you first of all for going over this issue! I’ll hope people experience the same issue will stumble upon you solution in the future!
