phishing email

i received an email receipt from apple pay for a subscription i did not make. is this a phishing attempt? I gave up trying to contact apple pay directly. talk about user-unfriendly. thx

Go here - Subscriptions and Purchases

and here - If you see "apple.com/bill" or an unfamiliar charge on your statement

and here - Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams
