I am trying to put a password for encryption am I supposed to create a new one or what?

I am trying to back up on iTunes now it’s asking for a password for encryption do I put in a new password?

back up When I did back up, it did not ask me the encryption password, so I don't know what password it is. I will lose every document I backed up cause I reset all the settings. I don't know what should I do. It is not fair that Itunes did not asked me the encryption password, and now I cant restore it :(( help me please somehow!

what if you never received the prompt to set a new encryption password? how do you turn off the local backup encryption?

I apparently have a backup encryption password that I don't remember, how can I reset it I need to reset my encryption password on iTunes
